Today, we’ll look at a wonderful promise - "A New Song in Your Mouth." In Psalm 40:3, God says, "He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God." Let’s think about how this verse brings power and inspiration to our lives.
God Lifts Us Up
There was a time when we felt stuck in life, like we were in a pit or sinking in mud. Troubles and sorrows pulled us down. But God lifted us out of that pit and set our feet on solid ground. When He comes into our lives, He puts a new song in our mouth. This isn’t just any song—it’s a song of praise that shows His greatness.
A New Song - A New Heart
Dear friends, a new song isn’t just words. It’s a change in our hearts. When Jesus comes as our Savior, bad words or complaints don’t come from our mouths anymore. Instead, we speak His praise and share His love. This new song comes from a new heart and a renewed mind. What’s in your mouth today? Is it God’s praise, or are old hurts and grumbles still there?
Your Words Inspire Others
The new song in our mouth isn’t just for us. When others see and hear it, they turn to God. The psalmist says, "Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord." Do your words bring people closer to God or push them away? When we live praising Him and showing His glory, many souls can find salvation.
Dear brother, dear sister! Today, God is speaking to you. Ask Him to put a new song in your mouth. Let’s say a small prayer: "Lord, place Your song of praise in my mouth. Bless me so my words show Your glory." Today, God will do great things in your life. With a new song in your mouth, praise Him and spend this day with joy. God will bless you!
